A Farmsteading Learning Day at The Jupiter Creamery Farm

Our FIELDS program is designed for parents looking for a  dynamic and enriching educational experience for their child or children.

​

This homeschool learning day, will blend the joys of farming, gardening, art, and outdoor play into an engaging curriculum.

​

FIELDS stands for Farming, Interactive Art, Outdoor Learning, and Developmental Skills.
 

Here's what you can expect from our program:

Program Hours:
9:00 AM - 1:30 PM, offering a structured and fulfilling day for your child.

​

Classes will meet weekly on Wednesday and are planned with a great emphasis on hands-on activities with little to no homework each week for the students.


Each weekly session runs 4.5 hours for 26 weeks. *We require a 26 week commitment for this program.


Although this is a drop-off program, parents are always welcome to stay.

Curriculum Highlights:

Farmsteading:
Students actively participate in farm activities, fostering responsibility and a connection to the land.

​

Gardening:
Engage in hands-on gardening activities to learn about sustainability and healthy food production.

 

Art:
Explore creativity and self-expression through various artistic mediums, nurturing imagination and aesthetic appreciation.

 

Class Structure:
Each class runs for an hour, with small groups of 10-12 students to ensure personalized attention and a supportive learning environment. Our curriculum emphasizes hands-on activities, minimizing homework for younger students while offering enriching challenges for older ones.

Our program spans 26 weeks, starting after Labor Day in September and concluding in mid-April. Parents are welcome to stay and participate, but this is a drop-off program designed to provide a holistic learning experience for students.

Ages to apply for Homeschool/co-op: 8-12 for Farm-Motivated, 13-14 year olds

Session Details
Tuition and Payment Options:

Complete Payment, Due Sept 1, 2024: $1,950

Or

1st Tuition Payment, Due Aug 1, 2024: $1,105, due August 1st
2nd Tuition Payment, Due Sept 1, 2024: $1,105, due September 1st

We offer extended payment plans upon request.

*All tuition and fees are non-refundable. We require a 26 week commitment.

 

Classes begin the Wednesday after Labor Day in September and end in mid-April.

Student Registration Fees due 7 days after acceptance.

​

ALL TUITION & FEES: Due by September 1 for 2024-2025 year.

Daily Schedule:


9:00 - 10:00 AM: Farm Chores led by Farmer Suzie
10:10 - 11:10 AM: Gardening led by Jackie/Suzie
11:20 - 12:20 PM: Art led by Jackie
12:30 - 1:30 PM: Lunch/Recess/Activities/Pick up supervised by Jackie/Suzie

2024-2025 Schedule:

Fall Session: September 11 (start of classes) - December 11 (13 weeks)

 

Break: Nov 23 - Dec 1 (Thanksgiving, NO CLASSES)

 

Winter/Spring Session: January 8 - April 9 

 

Break: March 24 - 31 (Spring Break, NO CLASSES)
 

Last Class before Christmas December 11th - Pajama Day—Come dressed in your P.J.'s!

Last Day of Classes: Wednesday Apr 9th - Wacky Wednesday—Come dressed all Mixed up!

​

*IN CASE OF HURRICANE MAKE-UP DATES for 2024-25: December 18; April 16th, April 23rd
