Hi, I’m Shannon Bechtel, a 24-year-old artist based in South Florida. I create in oil, acrylic, mixed media, charcoal, and pencil, and my inspiration comes from my love of nature, travel, and the little details in the world around us. I hold an Associate’s degree in Fine Art, and my studies in life drawing, painting, anatomy, and environmental science continue to shape the way I see and interpret the world through art.

I’m especially drawn to those fleeting moments in nature — a colorful dawn, a quiet dusk, or the way light shifts after a storm — and I aim to capture not just how a place looks, but how it feels. Through my work and teaching, I hope to spark that same sense of wonder and connection in others.
