Volunteer
Here at Nourishing Food for Thought, our volunteers are highly-valued contributors and treated as key members of our team.
It is through the help of our incredible volunteers that we are able to provide such exciting, large-scale community events, keep our farm looking beautiful, and our animals happy.
Learn new skills, have fun, and become a part of a flourishing community working to promote nutrition, sustainable food production, and a self-sufficient way of living.
OPEN VOLUNTEER HOURS
Every Wednesday 4-6pm
Volunteer opportunity, open farm for all ages! Come help on the farm for a few hours, pick up branches, pull weeds, meet the animals. No advanced notice needed, just show up ready to work outside. Sneakers, water, and bug spray recommended. Counts for community service hours.
Planning Meetings
2nd Sunday of Every Month 1-2pm
You like our mission and want to be more involved? Please join our monthly planning meeting. Be part of a task group, hear about success and struggles. Help to grow this idea bigger than Suzie and her animals. RSVP via the link below to let us know that you are coming.
Health Food Task Force
2nd Sunday of every month 2:30-3:30pm
Open to anyone that wants to source healthy food. This task force is for the sustainably sourced, nutrient dense food and where to find it around Jupiter or how to bring it to Jupiter. This group will be asked to research and visit farms, restaurants and stores to find, if we can, locally sourced, sustainably grown, nutritious food. All findings will be available to the public in a document that we will be constantly editing and adding to as we find and research our local food sources. This group is for you if you like a challenge to find food and you are enough of a detective to ask the questions to find out the farming practices or source of their ingredients.
Nourishing Food for Thought is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizaton. We are able to verify community service hours for volunteer work done on the farm.
Ready to volunteer but want to set up a group, troop, club or business to volunteer at a date just for you? Or your group has skills that you think we could use for a specific project. Send an email to: info@nourishingfoodforthought.org

I am passionate about farm & nutrition education. I am looking for a partner that compliments our education programs and would grow what to offer and compliments your business or organization. For collaboration on a single project, on going programs or bigger plans.
I am also looking for instructors/business that would like to teach. These could be paid or volunteer.
