One-Day Farm Adventure Camp


Farm Explorers Day Camp

Age Group: 7-14 years old, 6 year olds welcome with older sibling

Camp Hours: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM


Daily Itinerary

9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Arrival and Welcome Circle

- Kids arrive and check in.

- Gather in a circle for introductions, camp rules, and connection,


9:30 AM - 10:30 AM: Animal Care Exploration

- Learn about the different farm animals.

- Engage in hands-on activities: feeding, grooming, and discussing their habitats and diets.


10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Nature Walk

- Take a guided nature walk around the farm.

- Observe local wildlife and plant life; discuss ecosystems and biodiversity.

- Nature scavenger hunt: find specific plants, insects, and rocks.


11:00 AM - 11:15 AM: Snack Time

- Enjoy a healthy snack (fruit, granola bars, etc.) and hydration break.


11:15 AM - 12:00 PM: Gardening Basics

- Hands-on activity in the garden: planting seeds and learning about soil health.

- Discuss the importance of sustainable farming and how to care for plants.


12:00PM - 12:30 PM: Lunch Break

- Enjoy a packed lunch; kids can sit together and share stories.


12:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Creative Crafts

- Create garden markers using natural materials and paint.


1:00 PM - 1:30 PM: Nature Art Activity

- Create art using items collected during the nature walk (leaves, flowers, twigs).

- Make a nature collage/mobile to take home.


1:30 PM - 1:45 PM: Farm Fun Games

- Participate in team-building games

- Focus on cooperation, teamwork, and having fun.


1:45 PM - 2:00 PM: Wrap-Up and Goodbye Circle

- Gather for a closing circle to share the favorite part of the day.

- Hand out certificates of participation and information on how to stay connected.


What to Bring:

- Water bottle

-Closed toed shoes or boots

- Sun hat and sunscreen

- Comfortable outdoor clothing and shoes

- Lunch (packed with healthy snacks)

- A small backpack for personal items


What We Provide:

- All materials for crafts and activities

- Healthy snacks throughout the day

- Supervision by trained camp counselors

- A safe and supportive environment


Cost: 

-Full Day $70 per child

-Sibling Rate $60 per additional sibling

-30 minute early bird add on for any child (8:30 am arrival): additional $15

-30 minute late bird add on (1:30pm pickup) additional $15

Please note: this is not a child care or day care service. This is a drop off farm enrichment camp on a working farm for your farm enthusiast child!
