One-Day Farm Adventure

Farm Explorers Day

Age Group: 5-12 years old

Camp Hours: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Daily Itinerary

8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Arrival and Welcome Circle

- Kids arrive and check in.

- Gather in a circle for introductions, camp rules and connection

9:00 AM - 10:00 AM: Animal Care Exploration

- Learn about the different farm animals

- Engage in hands-on activities: feeding, grooming, and discussing their habitats and diets

10:00 AM - 10:30 AM Snack Time

- Enjoy a healthy snack and hydration break

- Fruit Popsicles 

10:30 AM - 11:30 AM Nature Walk and Garden

- Take a guided nature walk around the farm

- Observe local wildlife and plant life; discuss ecosystems and biodiversity

- Nature scavenger hunt: find specific plants, insects, and rocks.

- Hands-on activity in the garden. (i.e. make seed balls)

- Discuss the importance of sustainable farming and how to care for plants

11:30 AM - 12:30 PM:  Lunch Break

- Enjoy a packed lunch; kids can sit together and share stories.

- Free time in treehouse i.e face paint, splash pad/water play (Summer)

12:30 PM - 1:15 PM Nature Art 

- Create art using items collected during the nature walk 

- Make a nature collage— i.e. nature bugs, painted butterfly leaves

1:15 PM - 2:00 PM Upstairs Games

- Engage in critical thinking, imagination, agricultural understanding with creative games and activities— i.e. card games, block/magnetic tile construction, mini farm building, clay construction

2:00 PM - 2:30 PM Treehouse Wrap-Up

- Circle up by the treehouse for an end of the day check-in and wrap-up

- Encourage teamwork and participation in outdoor activity i.e. games/sports, playtime (splash pad/water play - Summer)

What to Bring:

- Water bottle

- Sun hat and sunscreen

- Comfortable outdoor clothing and shoes

- Lunch (packed with healthy snacks)

- A small backpack for personal items

- Water clothes (Summer months)

What We Provide:

- All materials for crafts and activities

- Healthy snacks throughout the day

- Supervision by trained camp counselors

- A safe and supportive environment

Cost: 

-Full Day $85 per child

-Sibling Rate $65 per additional sibling

-30 minute early bird add on for any child (8:00 am arrival): additional $15

-30 minute late bird add on (3:00pm pickup) additional $15

Please note: this is not a child care or day care service. This is a drop off farm enrichment camp for your farm enthusiast child!
