We are thrilled to introduce you to SEED our homeschool learning day to potentially be open on Mondays &/or Tuesdays at the Jupiter Creamery, where we blend the joys of farming, gardening, art, and outdoor play into an engaging curriculum.

About the event

As we work on expanding our homeschool programs, we’re creating an RSVP waitlist for families interested in possible Monday or Tuesday sessions. If you’re interested, please RSVP to let us know, so we can put this program together as soon as possible for you.

We appreciate your patience as we navigate offering more days on the farm for your special kiddos. We’d also love to hear your ideas and feedback—feel free to email us at info@nourishingfoodforthought.org.

SEED (Stewardship, Education, Exploration, & Development)

Our program spans 26 weeks, starting after Labor Day in September and concluding in mid-April. *This is not a drop-off program. Parents/guardians are required to stay for the duration of program hours. *Parents can bring their children under 2 along for free as long as they are being watched.

Classes will meet weeklyinclude structured and engaging sessions, outdoor learning opportunities with farm animals, parent-lead curriculum hour, art class, and unstructured play-time.

Ages for Seed Homeschool: 3-7 years old

Daily Schedule:

  • 9:00 - 10:00 AM: Farm Chores 

  • 10:10 - 11:10 AM: Snack/Parent-Led Time

  • 11:20 - 12:20 AM: Art 

  • 12:30 - 1:30 PM: Lunch/Recess/Activities

2024-2025 Schedule:

  • Fall Session: September (start of classes) - December  (13 weeks)

  • Thanksgiving Break (Nov 23 - Dec 1, NO CLASSES)

  • Winter/Spring Session: January  - April  (13 weeks)

  • Spring Break (March 24-31, NO CLASSES)

Payment:

This is a 26-week program. We require payment before the first day of class. You have the option to pay in full  at a discounted rate or choose a two-payment schedule. Please note that all tuition and fees are non-refundable and due Sept 1st.
