About the event
Living in the tropics gives us a whole different set of edible plants to work with on a different gardening schedule than your traditional leafy green vegetables. In this workshop we go over 15 different edible leafy greens plants that you can grow easily in South Florida. There will be samples to see, smell, and taste. We will discuss how to cultivate, propagate, cook, and eat all different varieties of plants. Demo plants will be available for purchase after the class. This class will have a propagation and potting activity where every participant will learn how to propagate and plant a cutting of one of the plants we discuss.
