About the event
Intro to Worms
Did you know Charles Darwin’s last book was about worms? Worms, or Annelids, are some of the oldest creatures unchanged by time. They have no bones and are 90% water, however they shaped our entire environment as we know it. In this class we get to meet some squirmy companions as we discuss vermiculture, or the raising of worms. We will go over how to keep worms as domestic livestock and some techniques for composting with worms or breeding worms for bait and soil maintenance. Worms and Wormbins will be available for purchase after the class.
