About the event

Gardening in the Tropics: South Florida Style

Gardening in South Florida is a unique experience, unlike anywhere else in the country. This class is all about discovering the plants that truly thrive in our hot, humid climate. We'll explore a variety of options—from native species and lush foliage plants to vibrant bromeliads and tropical bloomers—that are perfect for your garden.

The focus will be on plant identification, helping you get to know a wide range of varieties and how to care for them. We'll also touch on basic garden design to help you start planning or enhancing your own tropical oasis. Demo plants will be available for purchase after the class if you're feeling inspired to bring some greenery home!
