Multi-Day Workshops

Chickens & Eggs, Farming & Cooking

Learn about chickens, basic handling, physical care and needs for keeping a backyard flock. We collect their eggs and head to the kitchen to cook with eggs.  Sunny side up, over, scrambled, poached, soft boiled, hollandaise, meringue, hard boiled & mayonnaise. 

For ages 6 and up. Ideal age is 6-16, kids will be cooking over a gas burner. Drop off 10 mins before start please or adults please donate for yourself if you would like to attend. *Please tell me about any food allergies, kids will be asked to not partake in those items, there will be cross contamination of nuts, gluten, dairy, shellfish, meat in this kitchen.

10AM - 12 PM EACH DAY OF WORKSHOP!

9/26 - part 1

Scrambled, omelet, sunny side up & over easy

10/17 - part 2

Separating eggs, meringue, hard boiled & mayonnaise.

11/28 - part 3

Soft boiled eggs, poached & hollandaise sauce

$75 for all three (spot preference given for all three)
$40 for a single part. (you will be waitlisted if someone signs up for all three)
Private classes choose part one, two or three. $150 max 6 participants.

Udderly Delicious Cow and Milk 

Raw milk and the amazing amount that can be made from dairy in this exclusive workshop that starts each morning with the cow care, milking procedures, animal nutrition & handling. Then the next two hours are spent taking that milk & turning that dairy into an amazing amount of products. This workshop will be hands on with the attendees making kefir, yogurt, cream, butter, cheese and more.

3 DAY WORKSHOP | 9AM - 12PM EACH DAY | M, TU, W

Only 6 spaces, first time price of $300 per attendee. Geared towards ages 12 and up, but we don’t discriminate against the very young foodie cow lovers if they are really mature up to adults that would like to homestead, be food self-sufficient or just curious.

This workshop can also be a dairy only workshop without working the cows. $1200 minimum for 4. $300 per person for a max of 6 people. Any 3 mornings in a row 9:30am-12pm.
