Farm Tours
Educational Tour Details
Our guided tour touches on many of the subjects listed. We can offer an in-depth focus on any of the subjects according to your classroom, requirements or interests. Please inform us of any subjects that you would like us to specifically spotlight before your visit to allow us to tailor your tour to your needs.

Feeding, petting and brushing a cow, (sometimes washing).

Milking demonstration, hand milking a few squirts of milk into a bucket (recommended for young) or watching a full milking (hand milking a few squirts, machine milked and pouring into glass jars).

Topics discussed are pasteurization, homogenization, raw milk, pasture management, diet and care of the cows.

Petting pigs, pigs will be fed and while busy eating can be petted.​​

Sheep are still very shy and require patience to pet but we do our best to get them close enough to touch.

Topics discussed are pastured vs confinement pork, diet, gestation, and breeds for south Florida.

Poultry will be available to pet, hold, feed, or watch.

Chicken (egg layers) will most likely be the stars but occasionally we have turkey, duck, quail, or guinea hen in addition.

Topics discussed will be pasture raised poultry, egg production, grocery store eggs, coops, and feed.

Educational Farm Tour
Our Jupiter Creamery offers personalized tours of farm operations that go beyond typical farm visits, including opportunities to pet animals and learn about sustainable practices for raising healthy livestock. The creamery's animals are pastured, grass-fed, non-GMO, and soy-free, with the belief that high-quality food comes from happy and healthy animals.

General Information
LOCATION
​We are located in Jupiter Farms. Our address is 18591 131st Trail North, Jupiter, Florida 33478.
​
HOURS
We are open year round with most tours being held mornings or evenings, avoiding the midday heat.
​
Approximate Tour Length
Our tours vary from 1 hour to 1 and 1/2 hours depending on the tour type and size of the tour group.

PARKING
There is a parking on site for 8 cars. We have room for one bus to park and turn around but no more than one bus can fit at a time.
Our store
We sell products produced on the farm as well as little gifts, we have fresh milk, cream, eggs, honey, milk soap, toys, signs, books, and more!

Bathrooms
A port-a-potty is available, although wide it is not handicap approved.

Payment
Please use the donate button on the website to confirm your reservation. Schools are asked to make a 50% deposit
​
Cancellation
In the case of bad weather an alternative date can be arranged if available. Otherwise please think of this as a donation as late cancellations can't be filled by another group.
Handicap Accessibility
Our farm is not very wheelchair accessible even in our main area where the cows are milked one may not be able to go and some spots may be a little bumpy.

Waiver
We require every visitor to sign a waiver of release of liability. Waivers can be emailed in, dropped off, or brought in the day of the tour or signed at the beginning of the tour. Everyone attending the tour must turn in a waiver or they will not be allowed to be in the tour.
Farm Tour Rules

You must sign a waiver before starting the tour.

DO NOT pick up, hit, be mean, poke, scare, or scream at the animals at any time.

DO NOT feed the animals anything unless mother earth produced it, no man made products.

DO NOT let your child put their hands in their mouth after petting an animal.

No personal items allowed in the barnyard area, including strollers and bags.​​

DO NOT climb any fence.

Keep your child’s/children's hands and feet out of the mouths of the animals.​

No barefoot or open toed shoes allowed inside the barnyard area.

Sanitize/wash your hands before entering and immediately upon exiting the barnyard area. (see warning below)

If you get scratched or bit, from a surface or an animal, please go to the store and receive First Aid. These rules are in place for everyone's safety. We take no tolerance stance on them. If you do not cooperate you will be asked to leave the barnyard area and no refund will be given.
Warning: There are some diseases and parasites that can be spread from animals to humans. The risk of infection through petting farm animals may be prevented by following everyday good hand hygiene measures. Therefore, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) warns that children and adults should wash their hands immediately after touching the animals at any petting zoo. Heightened precautions should be applied to high-risk groups: children under the age of five, people with weakened immune systems, and pregnant women fall in the category of high-risk for serious infection, and hence should strictly follow all the precautions enforced in the animal contact area.
