COW WASH CONTINUED!

Book a cow wash with your friends & family

While we are still warm...Pick the afternoon and put on your bathing suits. The first 30 minutes will be spent hosing down, scrubbing with colorful soap and pampering our two dairy cows, Cinnamon and Gertie until they are cooled off and beautifully clean. The rest of the hour will be spent playing with the chickens or holding chicks. Pigs and sheep are back, join us for petting and to watch their general mischief. $100 suggested donation. Tours can be 4, 5 or 6 pm.

Family Volunteer Hours
Get the family out of the house & help out the farm.

Thursday afternoons 3 to 5:30 pm in Sept. Put on yard work clothes, grab a water bottle and garden gloves. All ages welcome so long as they can follow instructions. Tasks will be picking up sticks, cleaning water containers, changing nesting boxes, weed control, animal feeding and care. We take breaks to visit with the animals.

Homeschool Groups and Private Tours
(Hands on, no virtual education here!)

See a cow being milked, feed and brush a cow. Pet a pig, catch a chicken and hold a chick. All while learning about how our food is raised and animals cared for. Topics discussed will be pasteurization, homogenization, bloom on eggs and get your animal questions answered. $100 suggested donation for private tours, Larger groups call for pricing and availability. Day and evening tours offered daily.

If you have never been to our Fall Pumpkin Feeding Event please come Nov. 7 & 8.
Sad bit to share, our Bobcat 873 All-purpose machine has died.
Please consider making a donation to help us buy a tractor! Our tractor is used every month to unload our pallet of feed (join our co-op if you want to feed your animals like ours). In our effort to build topsoil, improve soil ecology and try different grass seed varieties, our tractor is used to spread mulch and manure, smooth tire tracks from our big events and will hopefully pull a hay wagon if we can get in time for our Fall Pumpkin Feeding Event.
