How the Nourishing Food For Thought community teaching garden works
Due to the nature of our circumstances, our Programs and Services are in the process of reinventing themselves. We are open to partnerships to take our programs in a new direction. Thank you for your continued support.
We are here for home school or virtual school families or groups: Come to a volunteer session on a Thursday or a Saturday to be shown through the garden, hear an explanation on how the water system works, and learn about the various plants. Every week you can check out the Joseph P. Cory Foundation and print out the activities for the week. If you see something interesting to you, send a text to Suzie at 561-260-1609 to say the time you will be coming out with your family. While here, you can assist with tending to the garden. (Best times are 9-10 am and 5-6 pm) You are invited to harvest what you need but please be respectful and leave some for others. Visit times can be regular weekly, bi-weekly, or just casual.
Joseph P Cory Foundation , Gardens Of Hope Program
Regular Thursday Volunteer hours 3:30-6 pm November-March and 4-6:30 pm Apr.- Oct.

Abundant Produce garden is harvested every 2 weeks for donation to the Journey Church food pantry, here in Jupiter Farms. Harvest days are every other Sunday 10-11 am. All ages are welcome to come help harvest, weigh, and bag the produce for donation.
The garden will be summer-ized/planted with a cover crop or more manure/wood chip every May-August. Garden prep and seed starting resume in September.
